Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are used to enhance or restore delicate features of the face. Fillers consist of Hyaluronic Acid in a gel-like substance. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring hydrophilic molecule in our bodies, with the greatest concentration being in the skin. It is what keeps our skin looking full & hydrated. As we age, we lose hyaluronic acid, as well as collagen & elastin, resulting in hollowness & wrinkles. Dermal fillers are a safe & effective way to restore some of that lost volume & definition. Dermal fillers are also great if you are simply looking to enhance features such as lips, cheeks, chin, & jawline. The filler itself integrates with your own tissue & typically lasts 6-12 months (depending on placement and the product used). Improvement is immediate, although it can take up to two to four weeks for the filler to settle and achieve the final results.
